Bluetooth DUN
I'm having problems with the Wireless Modem shortcut constantly disappearing from the Programs menu - I copy the shortcut to Windows-StartMenu-Programs, verify it is there, can launch it from the Programs screen once or twice, go back and its gone!
Also, Bluetooth DUN which had worked flawlessly doesn't work. My Toshiba stack on my Dell D610 used to find the Modem as a service with no problem, but now doesn't find the modem at all - like it doesn't exist.
Found the fix - must have done this originally with the old ROM and forgot!
1. Go to the PHONE application
2. Dial ##3328873 Press Send
3. enter code 000000
4. Select BT DUN and Wmodem
5. Click Edit
6. Choose enable
7. Push Save / OK
8. Push Ok
9. Follow the prompt to restart your device
You will still need to copy the WModem shortcut to your Program Folder:
Set "show all files" in file explorer and navigate to the Windows folder and copy the WModem (smaller of the two WModem files is a shortcut - 24B) and paste it in the Windows -Start Menu -Programs folder.
