I admit that every new tab I've tried appears to actually open it in new instance of PIE, as you said, but I don't know what you mean by opening a link in a new "back tab". The only options I've seen are "New Blank", "New Current", "New from Closed", or "Current from Closed", and I've tried all of them with no luck. I've never seen anything but one tab on the bottom. Please help me out, because tabbing sure would be nice.

Tap and hold on a link. On the context menu you'll see an option to open the link in a new tab or a "back new tab" which I presume means a background tab. I've had mixed success with both options. The link always opens, but sometimes in a new tab and sometimes in a new PIE instance. It seems pretty random so far. |
