Yo guys,

I just found this thread on the GMail help forums and, so far, it seems to be working. Emails don't disappear now on subsequent send/receives.

"Try this... in your email program on the pda you can normally choose
between downloading the whole rmail or just the header + x K's... try
this second option with a large amount there (999K)... not the most
elegant work around, but for me it works in the sense that emails are
not anymore flushed out from the pda inbox every time I synchronize!"
