Anyway, after testing the MSI FS300, I can confirm that the i-Phono BT420ex headset is not compatible with these A2DP settings (it will not pair for stereo, only hands-free). That said, the BT420 and stereo dongle combination do produce higher quality sound, albeit, with less range before cutting in and out.

Thanks for the update on the FS300, rhacy.

I haven't even tried making calls with mine as I bought it mostly to play around with Bt stereo using the MSI Star Key 2.0 dongle on my IBM T42 notebook. I'm planning to hard reset my PPC-6700 and load a lot of new software versions this weekend, so maybe I'll try out the A2DP hacks with the FS300 before I do that.
