Good grief - where to start? I could kill a day on this topic.

But to pick one, I think I'd have to say the "IM dialect" - you know, "u r so rite. thx". It drives me crazy trying to help someone out but having to leap the extra hurdle of figuring out what the heck they're saying.

However, I will admit to being a bit of a logophile - I have 2 dictionaries in my phone, one in my office, one in my bedroom, one in my den, one in the kitchen - you get the picture.

I'm also one of those weirdos who would love to own that massive Oxford dictionary - the one that's something like 27 volumes.
