Sweet Jeebus! It works!
Stereo over BT from the 6700. Very cool. It does not seem to do anything with the Microsoft Bluetooth stack, which is probably good. This has its own player with, unfortunately, very tiny buttons. I'm not complaining.
I am using Sonorix-branded headphones. I'm getting a tiny bit of skipping but that may be my Sandisk 2 Gig card or the headphones. I had one BSOD during the first song after 3 minutes of playback, but after that it has worked. There may be a few flaky things but, again, I think its the mini-SD and my power settings. When the 6700 goes to sleep, the player seems to die. I'll continue to test.
AVRCP (or whatever the acronym is) does not seem to work. I am not able to remote control the player from the headset.
Phone calls do interrupt the music and the music will resume when the call is done.
You must scan for the headset in the program itself. Use the "Option" command. When the headset is found, make sure you actually select it before leaving the screen to go back to the player.
Thanks for the tip bostonGuy! Coincidentally, I just bought another device with the Blueplayer software (from i.Tech) that hasn't arrived yet, so I suppose I'm legal since they have my money.
