Obviously fill in anysms with the phone you want to send to. Why isn't this acceptable or is there another issue I'm missing?
There are two problems with this:

1) You have to be connected to Vision to send an email. This is slow and possibly expensive depending on your plan, and you can't receive phone calls while you are connected.

2) When someone sends an SMS to you, it arrives as a shortmail, not a text message. There is no good way to read your shortmail, since you can't access Sprint's WAP pages with your I500.

I understand (pray?) that I500SMS will allow me to send an SMS without being connected, and to receive SMS's as 1-way text notifications.
