Ok, maybe I'm clueless so enlighten me. The i500 does accept a short message by using phone#@messaging.sprintpcs.com. So the problem is sending one out. With an email program can't you then send a short message to phonenum@anysms.com.
Obviously fill in anysms with the phone you want to send to. Why isn't this acceptable or is there another issue I'm missing?
