awesome. worked for me. first rep wasn't helpful so i just ended that call. the 2nd rep got it down for me in like 10 minutes. thanks pdaphonehome and everyone else here for the info! i just asked that my IT guy asked me to call and ask for "PDA SMS 2000 Allowance with a feature code of SMS2K". said it was added and i hope that's it. i'll check my account later.

edit: logged into my verizon account and under the messenging column:

PDA SMS 2000 ALLOWANCE $0

oh yeah..don't forget to dial *288 and press 2 to update your phone with the new feature.
