Here are some rules that we apply to all of the forums and are good general guidelines... pardon the plagiarism...

Please keep the following in mind when using the Treo 700W forum:

1. PLEASE SEARCH FIRST before starting a new thread. We have threads covering many, many Treo 700W-related topics so there is a very good chance a thread discussing your issue already exists (especially if you are a newbie).

2. Personal attacks and flame wars will not be tolerated at all. This is an easy way to get on the wrong side of the moderators.

3. Please do not take it personally if a moderator closes, deletes, or moves one of your posts/threads. There is a good reason behind it (more than likely a similar thread already exists) and if you wish to discuss it (or have other forum administrative type questions), please feel free to PM that moderator for more information.

4. Please try to keep threads on topic. Please especially try not to "hijack" someone else's thread by asking a question that is not within the same context as the current discussion going on in that thread. An unrelated question can change the entire focus of the thread and thus the thread starter is robbed of the information they were originally seeking.

5. Please try to keep in mind that all moderators are volunteers and do this in their spare time because they want to help others get the most out of their pdaphone. With that in mind, please treat them (and all other forum members as well) with some basic respect.

6. Advertising/for sale type posts are not allowed in this forum.

7. Enjoy the forum and your new Treo 700W!
