Dont know if this makes any sense but here goes. I installed 3900B last night, and got the memory error. So I fiddled with the on/off scenario but was frustrated that I even had to do that. So, I then decide to reinstall the Broadcom patch for the heck of it and low and behold it it worked. I could turn the BT on and off w/o a hitch.

I searched serveral threads and did not find any similar posts at least in the order or way these patches and updates are installed.

As of this AM I am using a M-HS820 with improved quality and reception. I also bid on a Plantronics-510 last night via ebay, won it and will post as soon as I put it to the test.
