ive already done the Txt msg mod in this thread.. it took away the first one(notification), but not the actual txt that tells me that it has been sent

Ok, now I understand what you are referring to. To get rid of delivery notifications go to Messaging, and from there tap on * Text Messages. Now uncheck Request delivery notifications, and tap ok. You should be all set. Try it and let us know.
