Michael and Jim,
That makes a lot of sense, and also syncs (no pun intended) with what WebIS told me in that they've experienced a high level of data corruption with the i730. I'll do what you suggest tomorrow morning when I have some time and let you know how it goes.
BTW Michael, I am already set up per your post in the FAQ (90% anyway - I took a couple of liberties) - very helpful and effective.
