Clearly this doesn't work for everybody. I have also tried the p's and w's to no avail. They simply do not work.

I wonder: is this due to us having different carriers (Verizon, Sprint, etc.) or different firmware versions. My firmware is dated around 12/04. My carrier is a local independent.
