I reversed the FATFS cache back to 0, and that helped to the point where I could get the first page, but if I tried to navigate to a link, IE would quit.

There was a bit of a speed up overall fromthose two hacks, but the loss of IE was unacceptable for the tiny speed-up I saw.
This is just my experience. YMMV.

This is a bug with putting your IE cache on the card. put it back into main memory and all will be well. the other two cache mods have nothing to do with it.
