Unlike other phones that I've had, this one acts a little different. It appears to not do anything, but only because when I'm listening for a dialtone or tones to dial the pager number, they are either not there or very quiet. But they are getting throught as has been verified by the wife.

I did have to experiment some, because one "p" is not enough and starts dialing too quickly, and four p's delay the dialing so that I usually get disconnected before anything happens.
