ok. I got the 6700 working with my laptop on both BT and USB and can pretty much at will, connect to whichever way I like. Now the question. When the connection is established, both the BT and USB says "connected at 230.4kb". Does that mean I am only going to get that 230kb maximum speed? I tried looking at the modem properties and nowhere it will let me ajust the connection to above 230kb.
luv2chill,
I have Widcomm stack in my IBM laptop and it works fine. During the BT DUN install, the MS Anti-spam software told me I was installing a new winsock stack too. Furthermore, I think setting up DUN via BT and USB has nothing to do with each other, thus setting up USB DUN first really should not be a requirement. In my "device manager", there are separate BT modem and cdma usb modem. Depending on the connection, the computer uses one or the other.
