Alright -- almost there. I figured out how to treat my ppc as a modem (com 4) in dial up networking, and made #777 the dial number. I don't know what username / password are supposed to be. Leaving them blank does not accomplish anything. *something* happens when i click dial -- my phone starts going crazy trying to dial #777, but nothing ultimately happens, and windows reports that the device failed to respond.
