But isn't that information somewhat outdated? It applies the the i700 and is from 2003. This Page implies that it is do-able, but also has similar warning about potential difficulties. Of course, it also mentions a mode that I can't even find on my PPC and has a link to files that don't exist any more. [v3.1.4 b2419]
Looks like I'll take the E-man's advice; again.

On a similar vein: If I upgrade the radio and it requires a hard reset, does that necessitate reinstalling everything again or can I use a backup of the programs work since the CE ROM isn't changing?
