Well, folks, I actually got wireless modem setup to work with a USB cable. I have been able to surf a little bit with the laptop and the 6700 without any problems or limitations. Setup-wise, It was a bit of a pain. Unfortunately, shortly after that I experienced a problem with my DNS server location/resolution in IE6 and anything else. Wouldn't even connect via Wi-Fi. I mean, I have network connection here in my home network, but couldn't even ping out. Weird. This is the second time it's happened. I THINK this started up after I installed Bluetooth and possibly after partnering the 6700 with my laptop to attempt a DUN vai Bluetooth. Not sure exactly. Wish I had paid more attention. But this is actually the second time I've run into this, requiring me to do a system restore on the laptop. No biggie there. The first time I encountered inability to bring up web pages, MSN messenger connection or even email, was after a failed installation of the drivers for the 6700 CDMA modem. This time it happened after a SUCCESSFUL installation.
So I'm wondering if there is somethign that is messing up my networking protocols in this setup?
