*sigh* yes, I'm really looking at this thread. It was very late when I typed that last message, which I immediately corrected. And I have since retrieved wmodem.exe from a friend, dropped it onto my ppc, and used file explorer to execute it. It definitely wasn't there before -- I searched the whole system. But its there now.
