Yes it does ma'am! It is irda SIR, which is low powered (so can't use it as your TV remote), but it was the same limitation with the 6600. It works fine for transmitting to PCs, printers, and other PDAs.

Thinking about picking one up? You know you want it!

Honestly, I'm extremely impressed. Yes it's a little chubby, but otherwise it's so much smaller than the 6600... makes a big difference. Also, all of the feature upgrades over the 6600 are wonderful and seem to work well. The device is quite speedy and the OS seems stable, even with Voice Command installed (haven't tried many other apps yet). Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work surprisingly well.

EV-DO was the compelling draw for me, and so if it is for you too then I understand wanting to hold off (since Hutch isn't likely to have it too soon). But even then, I like smaller phones so even without EV-DO I like this thing a lot.
