I'm a T650 owner and am thinking of a switch as well. I have a PocketPC too but not as a phone. I've played with a 6700 beta.
Some comparisons...
- 6700 not as easy one-handed operation, particularly contact lookup. T650 is designed for one-handed operation.
- 6700 has EVDO speed, up to 1MB and WiFi. T650 is 1xRTT/Edge typically 50-150Kb/sec.
- Palm OS management a little more straightforward (IMHO). But PPC has better multitasking.
- Battery life on T650 much better (standard battery). Both can have extended batteries.
- As a bluetooth GPS user, PocketPC GPS software is better, more options
- Keyboard wider on 6700, easier to type. A bit cumbersome to type on tight T650.
- PPC apps eat much more memory than Palm apps.
- T650 has non-volatile RAM. Won't lose memory if battery dies. (A big deal me thinks)
