Yes, I unlocked my MPX220 for free just now!

I called the cingular technical support and asked them for unlock code. They already have your IMEI # but if you have exchanged your phone then you need to suppy it again. After two days, I got a call with unlock code, also received email with instruction. Instruction is the usual one 1) press and hold * key till box appear......


Ignore the instruction. Put a non-cingular SIM card upon power up message will appear asking for unlock code. Enter you code and you are done!!!

I have my phone unlocked! I tried putting Cingular back and phone is happy; tuned off and put back non-cingular SIM and phone happy again!
