Well I found out some things since my last post. I called Telus and they would not activate my phone with them even though I am currently a customer with them. I found out that its not that they can't activate it but will not activate it. However I dropped by a Bell world store and they said they will activate it. All they needed was the unlock code which I was given. Great forum, love it.
