Well after 2 weeks Pacific Rim sent the wrong case. A week later after 20 phone calls, 2 of which were answered, and 8 emails, 3 of which were answered they sent another wrong case. Come to find out the case I ordered is not in stock. I wont complain further, I'll allow the reader to make assumptions on Pacific Rims competency.
So second delivery from PacRim I recieved the open access leather case for the T600
The good:
1) the case is well made it will last for awhile
2) its very slim adding almost no size and weight to the phone
3) with no clear plastic covering the screen or keyboard and the leather a fair distance from buttons and screen this case offers complete non-obstructed use.
4) The top latch is a button and hole magnetic clasp, no snap to struggle with, but still a very secure closure
5) the lock and release swivel is easy to use and holds the phone very securely.
6) the open ports are the stylus, charger, headset jack and side keys (it's hard to say whether or not the ringer switch, IR port and sd slot are covered on the 650 version but they are on the 600 version and it would be hard to make this case without covering them.
The bad:
1) the swivel is not a racheting swivel so it swings about
2) the clip of course sticks the phone out a foot from the hip because it is a lock/release swivel
3) there is'nt much holding the phone in the case. I would be scared to death to jog in the park with this one.
