Bumping this up because this guy never received a solution and I have the same problem.

Bridge calls come to me on my calendar and I have to do this to call it. 1-800-555-2121 PassCode: 111111

1. Open Calendar entry
2. Go into EDIT Mode

Why the heck should I need to do that? Why can't I be able to copy the number from view mode? Edit mode means I need to close it and it appears to have been changed and that change gets sync'd to the calendar server.

3. Mark the number and memorize the PIN
4. Copy the number (remembering to not CUT it since I'm in edit mode)
5. Go to the Phone screen
6. Paste it.
7. Enter the PIN at the prompt (if I still remember it -- otherwise hit the calendar button to see it again)

That is too much dang work and much easier on my old 7135 and the Treo 600 (with TAKEphONE).

Can some smart developer just write the code we need? We want to be able to parse out numbers in a calendar entry and put it to a clipboard. We can then modify/copy it to the phone if it doesn't parse out cleanly.

For example if I have this in the calendar entry:

1-800-555-2121 PassCode: 111111

I'd like to tap the entry in view mode and have all numbers, spaces, hyphens, and special characters ("w", "p") parsed out and offered these options:

Dial 1-800-555-2121
Dial 111111
Copy 1-800-555-2121 111111

If I chose the 3rd option, I want a note screen to pop up where I can modify and copy/paste this to the phone screen:

1-800-555-2121w111111

It would be even easier when you've defined the "special characters" to the application. If you have this entry already

1-800-555-2121w111111

The options would be offered up:

Dial 1-800-555-2121
Dial 111111
Dial 1-800-555-2121w111111
Copy 1-800-555-2121w111111

Where the heck is Shimon? I'd bet he could knock this out in no time once he started coding for PPCs.
