Hey GhengisEEK is this the holster you have, and do the scratches come from these little notches? http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mrjame...b8.jpg&.src=ph

David Chang I know you question was directed towards GhengisEEK but I assume all feed back is welcome.
I think the swivel is important as GhengisEEK mentioned when sitting many chairs are in the way of the phone until you turn it 90 degrees. I sit back but lean my upperbody forward. I dont see a great purpose for the nonlocking but the locking may also suit individuals who hang over the belt a little. They may perfer the phone upright when clipped on a certain part of the belt but may need to swivel it 90 degrees if they slide the phone to an area on the belt where they hang over a bit. I constantly slide my phone from the back to the side and to the front. Facing out is great but only if the holster detaches from the clip. It is easier to push a button and remove the holster and phone from the clip and use it in the holster. But the removable swivels are very bulky.

I myself would never use a clip where the phone faces out but I know many perfer them.

Im glad Seidio is redisigning this holster http://store.treocentral.com/content...-24--155-2.htm and I will be eager to purchase one when they are ready.
