HatOnCat - Wow! Someone got it working? That's amazing! Great Job!!!

I've got a Sprint PPC-6601 and a 1GHz 12" PowerBook. I haven't tried any of the patching that folks have posted about on these forums. Not because I'm not capable, but because I haven't purchased a bluetooth headset yet, and I didn't want to kill my precious, expensive phone.

If I can really use my Powerbook occasionally with these instructions... well, that would kick butt! (Pardon my excitement please!)

I take it no matter what you did, you couldn't get this to work without patching the phone? I'm still a touch nervous about the 3500 patch, after all the comments in that thread. But I'll do some more reading. Voice Command is probably more important to me than tethering, so...
