Hi everyone, I'd gotten a few emails asking for connection settings so I thought I'd reply back on the forum. I've just been so busy have not had time to visit here recently.

Well, I just re-checked my settings and this is what I have:

T-Mobile USA

GPRS CONNECTIONS:
Description: T-Zones
Connects to: The Internet
Access Point: wap.voicestream.com (<- I have this)
(or internet2.voicestream.com or internet3.voicestream.com )
User Name:
Password:
Primary DNS: 216.155.165.50
Secondary DNS: 216.155.165.50
IP Address:

PROXY CONNECTIONS:
Description: Proxy
Connects From: The Internet
Connects To: WAP Network
Proxy (name:port): 216.155.165.50
Type: WAP
User name:
Password:

Settings-Data Connections:
Internet Connection: T-Zones
WAP Connection: T-Zones

(so looks like I do not have the 'Proxy' setting defined for use anywhere).

INTERNET EXPLORER > MENU > OPTIONS > CONNECTIONS:
Select 'The Internet' and tick 'automatically Detect Settings' .

There, that's an exact replica of my settings. Beyond this, I'm not sure what else to suggest you try. Maybe the additional options that are listed above for the Access Point values.

Unfortunately I'm going on an 'out-of-rown' vacation today for 8 days. I still have a copy of the tri-band firmware if someone needs it, but you'll have to suggest a place where I can dump it. It's about 27 mb rar-ed. I can do that once I'm back but as one user suggested, it might not actually un-lock all three bands since that might not be possible at the hardware level.

Good luck,

Jawad
