They added a phone feature, which is functional, but lacks many of the bells and whistles of todays cellphones.

So, I'm quite shocked today when I'm going to the T-Mobile site and I stumble upon this new Blackberry 7100T. This thing looks pretty exciting, and then I spot the icing on the cake... Bluetooth! Yes boys and girls, a sexy looking Blackberry with Bluetooth! The 7100T looks more like something we'd see from SonyEricsson, than from RIM.

The 7100T is a quad-band GSM/GPRS phone, with speakerphone, 260x240 color LCD, a new QWERTY keyboard, polyphonic ringtones, and all the usual Blackberry features. No information is available on when this will be available. I assume that other carriers will offer it since it is a quad-band device.

Find out more at T-Mobile.
A big unknown in my mind is the new keyboard. There are only 14 keys and each key will represent two letters. Combined with this is new "SureType" software that decides which letter the user intended, based on the word being typed. It remains to be seen how well that works.
