The HP is a quadband device (850/900/1800/1900)and will probably work almost everywhere in the world. I am also getting a quadband wireless modem for my laptop, so i can have access to the net during travel (other than the 4100). Of course now many airlines and airports offer internet access and WiFI hotspots are increasing day by day. But this way i have one less dependency on my environment.
