I had some problems setting up Wap for TMobile in the Houston area with the above settings. After finding several different discussions and trying a combination of things I got it to work. Here is what I did. Things I changed or added comment from the above thread are noted with ***
Additional note: I downloaded another firmware and flashed the phone. It did the following: wiped out AT&T logos, etc, enabled 900 Mhz, and probably a couple of other things. The ring-tones are now different and also much louder and I can actually here the phone when it rings, even when in my pocket. I can also use the web browser without having to get the data package.
