Battery life is an issue, but is rarely a problem. I have two, and swap them in and out of the cradle, taking the extra with me when I'm out of the office. With an office charger, car charger, and home charger (sans cradle), you're good to go on just about any (US) trip. Biggest sap of battery is phone usage, ESPECIALLY if you're not in a digital area (something I have to keep an eye on in NM (yes, it is a State in the US)). That energy saver plugin would probably be a good investment if you need it, but I haven't.
