Unfortunately, it sounds like you may have to get a new phone shipped out. While some people have had success with the 2003 OS from T-Mobile, others (like me) have not. I'm currently waiting for my 2nd replacement since upgrading my original phone to 03.

Support's been pretty responsive with shipping out a new phone. I'd love to just have it work the first time though. I plan to ask T-Mobile for a month of service free for this inconvience. I'm going on two weeks without a phone now.
