Well, I'm still awaiting news from my sources; however, I've found out this much through my contacting of T-Mobile's Wireless Tech Support:
1. The update and notes were pulled because they were having problems with the website and the links to the downloads.
2. Should the upgrade not be successful, they will be happy to send you a replacement - even if it is out of warranty!
