From what I've read tonight the people who are having problems have a lot of stuff on the XDA and so they run out of RAM in the middle of the install. Apparently the upgrade fails in a bad way when this happens.

I did an OS upgrade using an SD card and it went OK. I'll follow up with the R/S when this all gets straightened out.
