johnbartley, I too am wondering about upgrading my T|W mainly because it is locked to AT&T (no I don't want to sink another $100+ into unlocking it), and because the chip and OS are obsolecent! I asked PalmOne for a trade-in and they said NO WAY. Without an upgrade its going on the sales block. My guess PalmOne is going to dump T|W for Treo 600 which has its drawbacks as well. Lee
