be careful now that you have old palm data on your hybrid 7135. you may have inadvertently synced over legacy files and data that may not be understandable to the 7135.
now that you have your old data back.. i would rename my backup and archive folders to something else and then do a full reset of the 7135 to return it to factory specs, do a virgin sync to regenerate a new backup and archive folder (do not install anything at this time), THEN manually cut and paste your addy book, to do list (bascially the PIM infomation, no 3rd party apps) to your shiny new 7135. then you can install apps normally. this ensures you dont get any pesky files to install. a little work to do, but this will save you grief down the road.... the archives will prove that... :drink3
