Well I finally made it to the local Spring store. The tech guy showed me his phone and the store phone, which all had the same blemish!
They said that others have had the same complaint.

So it seems that all the phones have this blemish and there is nothing I can do about it!

The phone is still usable and functions great.. but I'm just a college student.. so $500 is alot of money for a crap screen.

What does Samsung have to say about this?
